You will needwater and a hose, large cotton swabs, and a wheel washing brush. Cotton swabs will enable you to reach the hard to reach spots on the wheels.Tar can be efficiently removed with tar remover or bug remover. It is important to avoid hard material when you are washing, as it may ruin the polish and coating. This process for the protective finish must be frequently repeated.
  • A warm, sunny day is the best time to clean the wheels of your car. You can use a hose to drive the dirt away, so you can reduce the need for excessive scrubbing; excessive scrubbing may damage the polish. Then, you can clean the wheels with a wheel cleaner. Auto Magnets

Placing the Signs:

Car magnets need a metal surface that is smooth and flat, usually the side or rear door panels. Try to center the magnetic car sign horizontally on the panel and carefully place one corner against the metal surface first. Allow the magnetic sign to pull itself and attach securely to the metal. For the best grip, the car magnet should be flat against the metal without air pockets. If you decide you need to reposition the sign, carefully remove it by pulling at the corner and reattaching it in the desired place. Dragging the magnet across the surface can scratch or damage your paint. Be sure to place the signs in smooth places that do not have ridges, dents or rust spots so that the magnetic signs lay flat. Also avoid areas of direct sunlight, like the hood of the car or other horizontal surfaces, as it can cause fading.

Removing Signs For Cleaning:

Cleaning your car magnets on a regular basis will keep them looking attractive and new. To remove the signs, do not bend or crease the corners, but carefully peel at the edge and release the magnet. Use a wet paper towel to clean the surface or Windex to help with dirt spots and stains. After cleaning the signs, make sure to dry it completely before placing it back on the vehicle.

Storing Magnetic Signs:

If car magnets are used to promote a seasonal sale or event, you will need to store the signs properly for future use. Storing magnetic car signs in a clean, dry place is best. Lay the magnetic signs flat on a sturdy shelf, and avoid stacking signs vertically with the magnetic sides touching each other. To keep signs from bending or creasing, do not stack heavy objects like boxes on top of the signs. Magnetic signs are durable and sturdy, but following these simple steps for care and maintenance will make sure the signs continue promoting your business even longer.

Maintain Car Engine

1, use the appropriate lubricants. Gasoline motor should use SD-SF gasoline engine oil into the exhaust system in accordance with attachments and conditions of use; diesel motor will have to use CB-CD diesel motor oil level according to the mechanical load, a standard not lower than the manufacturer requirements prevail

2, maintenance three filters: Three filters are the air filter, oil filter and fuel filter. Three filters in the car engine for air, oil and gasoline play a filtering effect, which plays a protective effect on the engine, but also improves the efficiency of the engine.

3, change the oil and filter regularly. Occurrence of any quality grade of oil in the course of CNPC quality will change, in order to avoid the occurrence of failure, should be combined with a regular oil change conditions of use, and to moderate oil (generally dipstick cap as well).

4, regularly clean the crank case. During operation of the engine, the high pressure combustion chamber unburned gas, acid, water, sulfur and nitrogen oxides through the gap between the piston ring and cylinder wall into the crankcase, and mixed with the metal powder produced by wear of the parts is formed sludge. Therefore, the crankcase should be cleaned regularly to keep the engine cleans inside.

5, the tank engine rust, scale is the most common problem. Rust and scale limit of the coolant flowing in the cooling system, reduces the cooling effect, resulting in engine overheating, and even cause engine damage. Therefore, the tank should be cleaned regularly to remove rust and scale them.

6, regular cleaning of fuel systems, controls coke formation, enabling the engine to maintain the best condition.

7, to keep the crank case ventilation. Now most of the gasoline engine are equipped with PCV valve (positive crankcase ventilation), but channeling gas pollutants are deposited around the PCV valve, the valve may be clogged. Therefore, subject to periodic removal of pollutants around the PCV valve.

Change Engine Oil

  • Start the vehicle: Let the engine run for a few minutes so that the oil gets warm and will drain out smoothly. Conversely, if the engine is already hot, let it cool down for a while to avoid getting burned.
  • Jack it up: Use jack stands to raise the vehicle before you even consider sliding under it. Leaving it on just the jack can get dangerous.
  • Drain the oil: Locate the drain plug at the bottom of the engine and position a drain pan underneath it. Unscrew the plug (using a box or socket wrench if needed). Used lubricant will start flowing out into the pan immediately. Meanwhile, clean the plug and replace the washers or gaskets if needed. Screw the drain plug back into the drain hole once the oil has drained out completely. Be very careful not to tighten the plug too hard, as you could possibly strip the threads.
  • Replace the oil filter: You should also change the filter while you are at it. Position the drain pan beneath the filter and use a filter wrench to loosen it slightly. Be careful as oil will flow out. Take the new filter and lubricate it by dipping a finger in the new engine oil and smearing it along the rubber seal that runs around the rim of the filter. Wipe away any lubricant deposits before gently screwing on the new filter by hand. Ensure that it seats properly before giving the filter a final quarter turn.
  • Add new oil: Remove the cap and use a funnel to slowly pour the specified amount of fresh oil into the engine. It is advisable to initially pour in 1 quart less than the recommended amount. Screw on the oil cap and run the engine for a minute. This will allow the oil to circulate through the engine and you can check for leaks, if any. Lower the vehicle and wait for a few minutes before pouring in the remaining oil. Check the dipstick to ensure that the oil is at the proper level.
  • Proper disposal: Your freshly-oiled vehicle is ready to go. Do ensure that you properly dispose of the used oil and filter at a recycling center or other approved facility.

Need Transmission Flush

Flush with Caution
While a clean transmission will last longer in your car, flushing is not the only way to keep it clean. Flushing can damage a transmission by causing pieces of sludge to become lodged into crevices and valves, blocking fluid flow and possibly resulting in needng a replacement.
Several auto maintenance sites on the Internet concede that most manufacturers do not recommend flushes stressing preventive maintenance instead. Flushing will, however, remove built-up deposits and keep fresh oil cleaner.
Changing Transmission Fluid vs. Flushing
Community discussions on stress the difference between flushing the transmission and changing the fluids, which manufacturers do recommend. Changing fluids means draining and replacing the fluid and putting in a new filter. For manually-driven cars, the site recommends changing the fluid every 30,000 – 60,000 miles, and more frequently for heavy-duty driving. Manufacturers of automatic cars vary in their recommendations for changing transmission fluids from “never” to every 30,000 miles. Changing it more often, however, will do no harm.’s Popely notes that mechanics disagree about how often fluid should be changed; some say every 50,000 miles, while others suggest leaving it alone if there are no problems shifting gears.
Does a Change in Transmission Fluid Color Indicate a Problem?
Many people are under the mistaken belief that brown fluid means trouble. This is not the case. Instead, be aware of how the transmission fluid smells. A burning smell means that the transmission itself may be burning out and will need repair or replacement. To prevent this, ask your mechanic to check the fluids during regular maintenance. He or she will look for evidence of burnt fluid in the filter.

If you are going to use the kit these are the steps that will need to be taken.

• The first step is to remove any loose debris in the crack and any glass. You can use a razor blade to scrape out the crack gently to make sure noting remains inside.
• Wash your windshield to remove any leftover loose particles and shards of glass
• After reading the instructions that came with the kit because each kit differs slightly. The main tool has suction cups, which are put over the windshield crack but make sure that you can still see the crack through the center of the tool.
• Once you have the tool firmly in position apply resin into the center of the hole. The kit may contain an extra tool that will properly apply the resin and remove any air bubbles that appear after applying.
• After filling in the crack it needs to completely dry. Do not remove the tool. You can let your car sit in a dry warm area to help harden the resin. The resin will be a clear thick mass after it has hardened that will stay firmly stuck in the windshield crack.
• Once it has hardened you can remove the tool
• Check the crack to see if you need to repeat the treatment. If it is a deep crack, you may need to do it again.
• Once you are satisfied with the repair of the windshield cracks you should take a soft dry cloth and polish the area so the resin solution will match the glass around it as much as it can. If you were fixing a small crack it could become almost unrecognizable and appear new to the naked eye but if it is a large crack it could look slightly warped in the area where it was fixed.

Ford Ranger Bumper Replacement

Understanding that the work that will need to go into repairing the bumper is almost equal to what you would do in replacing the bumper is a reason good enough to choose to do the replacement.

Consider The Cost

Incase cost is your major concern; you should stay assured that purchasing a new bumper will cost almost as much as the repair of the damaged one. This is on top of the fact that you will need to use different tools, paint, materials and so on.

Screws & Attachment

You will need to remember different types of screws & attachment before replacing the bumper or you will end up breaking the bumper or the attachment itself.

Remove the Cover of the Bumper

Check whether there are plastic clips inside the bumper cover. You will need to detach these in a careful manner before replacing the cover. They will then need to be welded by a professional and this can be quite difficult for plastic bumpers.

Find a Flashlight

It can get complicated to work on the bumper assembly and this also need a lot of components. Having a flashlight as your work will help you around as you search for the bolts and nuts that you would have dropped.

Have a Jack

It is always important to have a jack with you. Trying to access the underside of the bumper assembly can be quite frustrating. This is why it would be a good idea to raise the car higher in order to achieve this.

An Alternative for Jack

Where jacks aren’t available, most people choose to slide down under the car in order to get the under-side access. You should remember to wear the necessary protective clothing and goggles before doing this.

Once you have put in place a Ford ranger rear bumper, you will enjoy various benefits such as:

  • Protect your vehicle when parking. When doing a parallel parking, you can easily bump into a fence, pole or other vehicle. The cramped conditions in a garage can also be a problem when parking. When you have the rear bumper, you do not have to worry about damaging your auto.
  • Minimize whiplash. In case of a fender Bender, the Ford Ranger Front bumper will reduce the impact and therefore minimize the whiplash as well as other injuries that the car’s occupants are likely to suffer. The vertical bars will absorb any shock and this means the occupants will not feel any impact.
